Hey again!

I went to my Facebook page and took questions regarding anything about makeup and answered a few of them for you. Please enjoy my first podcast and thanks for listening!

Post #12: The Snapchat Filter Challenge!

So I've noticed that the Snapchat filter popularity has grown immensely and they come out with brand new filters every day! Recently, they added a "pop art" style filter that turns you into a comic book character and today I wanted to share my attempt at recreating it on myself!

Hope you enjoy this video and thanks for watching!

Post #11: Main Products used for Wonder Woman Headband!

NEW. FAVORITE. PRODUCT.

I usually severely dislike any products I get at a costume shop (they are usually fairly cheap in price AND quality), but this one is different.

For about $10, you can get this Mehron Metallic Powder in Gold at Party America.

All you do is shake a small amount of gold powder into a container ( I used a shot glass) and mix it with the Mixing Liquid it comes with. It created a solid gold metal liquid that you use to paint on a perfect gold shimmer.

As someone obsessed with makeup who loves anything shiny and shimmery, I was in heaven.

I have a feeling I will be using this more in the future.

For the shading, I used my Morphe 35O palette you saw in the last video with a small eyeshadow brush!

I also wanted to mention one of my favorite lipsticks which is by Meltcosmetics in the color "noOd."

Find it here: http://www.meltcosmetics.com/products/nood

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next time!

Post #10: The Wonder Woman Challenge!

In honor of the new Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, I decided to try to do a Wonder Woman look! I couldn't find any tutorials on the new crown/headband she wears in the movie, so I decided to make one in case there is anyone on the internet world that will eventually come looking for one!

I used the Mehron Metallic Powder in Gold to create the headband (which I will show you in the next post) and added some details and shading with some brown shadows.

I also learned (kinda) how to use a green screen! Enjoy!

Post #9: Products used in the half-skull mask.

Here is a more detailed look at the main products I used in my last video.

This was a cheap white costume makeup I purchased from Party America. I DO NOT recommend it as I'm sure there are other better products out there.

A better alternative is the Mehron brand, they do carry it at Party America but they were out when I went to purchase it.

I also used MAC's fluid line gel in Blacktrack for the black paint and used a small brush to apply it.

And lastly, I used MAC's matte black eyeshadow in Carbon for shading the rest!

It is now April, girls and boys, which means we have 6 more months until Halloween. I wanted to show you a cool half-skull mask that I recreated from a tutorial by Youtuber Chrisspy. Here is the original video:

I didn't do it EXACTLY like this, because the texture of the white makeup didn't really allow it. I bought some cheap white cream makeup from Party America and it started cracking almost right away.

I was still fairly happy with the results and you can see it here:
